About Us…
SEN Nurture & Bloom was founded by Amanda, whose passion for supporting children with additional needs has always been deeply personal as well as professional.
At the heart of SEN Nurture & Bloom is a simple belief: every child deserves to feel understood, supported, and empowered to learn in a way that works for them. Our vision is to provide bespoke care and educational support for children with special educational needs, both in the UK and internationally, helping them grow in confidence, feel secure, and truly thrive.
Since qualifying as a teacher in 2005, Amanda has worked across both mainstream and specialist education in teaching, leadership, and consultancy roles. Since 2004, she has supported children and young people with a wide range of needs and abilities, giving her a genuine understanding of the challenges families can experience and the importance of compassionate, individualised support.
Alongside her work in schools, Amanda also began providing one-to-one tuition specialising in Special Educational Needs. Through this, she saw first-hand how powerful the right support can be. With patience, empathy, and teaching tailored to each child’s unique strengths and learning style, children are able to build confidence, discover their potential, and flourish.
